Texas Bound!

David and I are leaving early Wednesday morning bound for Texas! I'll be there for the National Career Development Association NCDA) Conference and David is coming along for the ride! I'm excited for a fun trip, both personally and professionally! I'll try to blog while we're traveling, but if I don't keep up it's simply because I am having too much fun "professionally developing" and vacationing in San Antonio & Austin, Texas! So excited for NCDA! : )

Fun in the Sun (and the Bath)!

Sunday afternoon/evening we had a fun-filled dinner date with Leah, Lukasz, Hayden, Raquel & Greg - good times! Hamburgers, outdoor play, sunshine, story telling, and lots of laughter were had! We are blessed - surrounded by so much love, friendship, happiness and FUN.

Leah's 30th Birthday!

My family got together yesterday to celebrate the 30th anniversary of my sister Leah's arrival into this world - HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS! It was a beautiful, sunny day and we spent lots of time playing outside with the girls, relaxing on the patio, eating pizza and cake, playing, playing and MORE playing, and yes dealing with a few tantrums and cousin fights (with an overly-tired Zoey and Hayden, it's expected)....but it was a great day overall. :)

Side note: Leah I know your 30th didn't have the WOW factor you might have liked, but at the same time it was a special day to be all together as a family, celebrating YOU. We're so lucky to have each other, even on days that feel a bit stressful or when our girls have meltdowns. :) I was pregnant on my 30th and had a very similar type of birthday (low key, family focused), and in retrospect it was exactly as it should have been. Love you!

Yosemite Bound on Father's Day Weekend!

Have a wonderful Father's Day weekend everyone! We'll be camping up in the Yosemite Area with my family this weekend, staying in tent cabins at San Jose Family Camp where my dad used to work, and taking a day trip into Yosemite Valley tomorrow. Fun stuff! And an early Happy Father's Day to my daddy, my hubby David, my brother-in-law Lukasz, and all of you wonderful, hardworking, loving dads out there! : )

Zoey @ 20 Months

Yes, you read that right....Zoey is 20 months old now! Quickly approaching the age of TWO - a full-blown crazy toddler......no scratch that,....a crazy LITTLE GIRL! Wow....what "they" say is sooo very true - time flies by way too fast when you're a parent.
But luckily our crazy little girl is an adorable ham, a comedian at heart, a love-bug, a total goof-ball, and a "beautiful handful" as we call her. I love you Zoey! Thank you for filling our life with adventure, smiles, and limitless LOVE! : )
